Each Scouting Unit also has an assigned commissioner who acts as a liaison and advisor to the Pack. Our Unit Commissioner is Jon Drier.
Our Pack is always interested in parents who want to make a difference in their child's Scouting adventure. Scouts who have a parent serving are much more likely to continue and advance all the way to Eagle Scout. Beyond that, it makes for a fun activity the whole family is invested in.
Talk to one of our current Pack leaders if you are interested. We need parents who can get in front of the Scouts, be silly, be serious, teach and lead. We also need parents who are organized planners who can work behind the scenes to make events a success. Chances are, you have a talent we could use!
ALL leaders must fill out an application, undergo a background check, and receive biannual Youth Protection Training certification. A certified "Trained" leader will also take online position specific training
Additional training for outdoor skills, target sports, and more are held by our Council on a regular basis. The calendar of upcoming training opportunities can be found here.
